The Edit: Clare V. Love Shop

I’m not typically into Valentine’s Day… and we certainly don’t exchange presents for the holiday. But these little Love Shop monogrammed items from Clare V. may be making me change my mind! Always happy to add another pouch to my collection.

The Edit: Covet and Lou

So excited to share one of my new favorite online shops with you today!

Tina Burgos launched Covet and Lou last fall, after owning a celebrated Boston boutique for ten years. Today, Tina is focused on apparel and home, championing independent designers and giving us access to an incredible collection of vintage goods.

Covet + Lou just released their Spring collection, featuring some A-list labels (giejo!) and several new-to-me favorites… I’m honored to be curating a collection for Tina – check out some of my favorite items (it was not easy to narrow down my selections!) and, if you are interested in knowing whether or not I’ve ever been arrested, read my answers to The Covet + Lou Questionnaire!

The Introduction: Veronica Beard

I fell in love with the Veronica Beard Spring 2014 collection last fall, after the the founders (and sisters-in-law!) were featured in The New York Times… The collection is finally hitting stores and is pretty incredible. I’ve been dreaming of the perfect black jumpsuit for months and this one is exactly that.

Veronica Beard is created by sisters-in law – who both happen to be named Veronica! – who are focused on the concept of simplifying high style into a uniform. I’m always a proponent of the uniform… and this is one brand that I could see myself wearing all the time. Investment pieces, yes, but they feel fresh and new while still managing to be classic.

Some favorites…

The brand is currently featured on The Fashion Fund and has a great blog… follow along:

Art

One of my favorite parts of studio & shop visits are the inspiration and gallery walls… I love a chance to see what inspires each creative and how they choose to display these inspirations. I dream of making a version of this wall, or the Clare V. NYC wall, in our house… but the plaster walls make that a little difficult!

Some pieces I’d love to add to my collection…
