I discovered Reading My Tea Leaves shortly after launching TAE and it has quickly become one of my favorite blogs… Erin has amazing taste, is a fantastic photographer and writer, and shares a lovely perspective on her life in Brooklyn. Unsurprisingly, her favorite American-made items are amazing, and she’s introduced me to some new brands that I’ll be following. Thanks so much, Erin!

The Edit : New York Called
Lexi Cross is the Social Media Director of Lulu Frost and writes New York Called, a gorgeous blog that combines thoughtful interviews with beautiful photos to tell the story of creatives who (like Lexi) have moved to New York to pursue their dreams – recent interviews have included TAE favorites Rebecca Atwood and OTTE!
I’ve read Lexi’s blog for a long time – she has incredible style and I was so excited when she agreed to share her favorites with me for this series. Soon after, I happened to meet her at the Lulu Frost x J. Crew popup in Soho (when I accidentally crashed the press preview… whoops!) and now I can tell you for sure that she is as awesome in real life as she is on the interwebs!
Thank you, Lexi!
The Edit : Mae Mae Paperie
My friend (and the amazing designer behind TAE!) Megan of Mae Mae Paperie has phenomenal taste, so I knew her American-made picks would be incredible. Unsurprisingly, she’s found the perfect assortment of items for your wardrobe and your home! The one thing I completely disagree with? She left out all of the gorgeous products in her shop!
The Edit : Lauren Smith
I can’t decide if my favorite part of this series is the introduction to new brands or learning why my friends buy American made… so many good items and such thoughtful perspectives! Lauren Smith is the author of Seventeenth and Irving. Thank you, Lauren!
